Missing teeth change how you eat, talk and smile.

You don't have to settle for a denture, and you don't have to drive to a specialist. Dr. Taylor places implants in our office on Veterans Blvd, and he will walk you through which option makes sense for you.

Model of a single dental implant with a crown

Missing one tooth

A single implant with a crown. It sits in your jaw like a real tooth, and the teeth next to it are left alone.

Your denture slips or hurts

We can put implants in so your denture snaps into place and stays there when you eat.

A full arch of teeth fixed on implants

Missing most or all of your teeth

A full set of teeth fixed on implants. You don't take them out at night. You brush them and eat with them like your own.

What does it cost? That depends on what you need, so Dr. Taylor prices it at your consultation. You can also pay monthly through Sunbit, CareCredit, Proceed Finance or Allegro.

Dr. Thomas M. Taylor, DMD

Dr. Thomas M. Taylor, DMD. Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

A Del Rio dentist, from a Del Rio family.

Dr. Taylor graduated from Del Rio High, went to Texas State, and spent a few years selling for Kraft Foods before he decided he wanted to come home and practice with his dad, Dr. L.G. Taylor.

After dental school at Tufts in Boston, he saw his first patient on January 4, 1999. As soon as that patient sat down, the power went out and stayed out for about 30 minutes. He jokes that he has started out behind schedule ever since.

The practice moved from his dad's 750 square foot office on Main Street to its current home in 2001. The goal has stayed the same: give Del Rio the kind of care people used to leave town to find.

If the dentist makes you nervous, tell us.

We offer IV sedation, so you can be relaxed through your procedure instead of gripping the chair.

Dr. Taylor also uses the Yomi robot to help place implants. He plans where each implant goes, and the robot helps him put it exactly there.

And if you need more than implants, like crowns, a new denture or braces, it all happens in the same office.

Questions we hear a lot

How much are implants?

It depends on how many teeth and which option fits you. You get your price at the consultation. Monthly payments are available.

Does it hurt?

You are numb for the procedure, and IV sedation is there if you want it.

I already wear dentures. Is it too late?

No. Implants can hold your denture in place, or replace it with teeth that stay in.

Do you take insurance?

We work with a number of plans. Our team will check yours when you come in.
